SEOULMATES TOUR – EPISODE 12 (Antwerp feat.MAD`C)

This is it! The last stop of our tour! We went to the CAN IT / JUST WRITING MY NAME -festival in Antwerp. CASROC invited us to paint a wall that was originally reserved for him- thank you! Regular readers of this blog might remember that our episode with MAD`C was stolen. BUT… we are proud to announce that we painted with her again this time! It all happened because MAD`C also came to the same festival. The wall she was supposed to paint was too small so she decided to join us and paint a wallpaper(!) for our tattoo-studio concept! Thank you, C!

SEOULMATES TOUR – EPISODE 11 (Koblenz feat.DATER)

DATER of the LOVE LETTERS invited us to his hometown Koblenz. After weeks of eating sandwiches and kebab we almost broke out in tears when DATER`s wife , ASIA, served us the most delicious Asian food! We also made friends with NOESHA, their lovely daughter!

We decided to paint a Kung-Fu theme. After the quick walls in Berlin and Amsterdam we took a lot of time to bring you another high-quality Seoulmates-production with loads of details.

Continuing our tour we visited Amsterdam. Even though we did not manage to meet any local writers we had a lot of fun painting a giant-monster theme! RUSK suggested visiting the IBUG festival in Merane. A bunch of artists gathered in an old run-down factory building to turn it into an exhibition. We really enjoyed this graffiti-playground! This stop was special because we didn’t create a clean concept-wall but several smaller pieces playing with the various surfaces.

We are now in Berlin planing our next wall! After replacing the broken window we are still working on reinstalling our technical setup. Untill then we will give you some of the photos taken at the wall in Okriftel/Frankfurt. We painted a nice toy-room concept. CAN2 transformed all his letters into different items, we love it!

SEOULMATES TOUR – The stolen episode (ft. MAD`C)

Yesterday we were in Frankfurt to paint with CAN2. We also seized the night to finish up the video for our last stop in Halle where we painted with the awesome MAD`C.

Than it happened: some crazy junkie smashed the window of our car and stole our notebook! We were about to upload the latest episode. So this guy did not only steal an important piece of equipment but also loads of data including our EPISODE 6 which will be lost for ever. For a moment we were in shock and it messed up our timetable but… We are the unstoppable SM8-Army and our mission is by far not complete!

We apologize to everyone who is disappointed about EPISODE 6 not being released and we hope that these photos will give you an idea of our project with MAD`C. If you don`t know about her better go and check out www.madc.tv ! We decided to paint an eighties-zombie-horror-creepy-neon … -concept. enjoy!

We just started painting a big wall with the infamous CAN2. The concept will be a children`s room full of toys and other fun stuff.We are going to paint two days in a row so you can expect some serious spraycan-art! Watch out for the final wall! Also coming up soon will be the episode 6 video featuring MAD´C!

We painted a nice concept-wall with the great BEET in MOGI`s hometown, Braunschweig. Frank Tobian invited us to redesign the facade of the B-58 youth-center. The B-58 is known to be the location with the most live concerts in Braunschweig so we decided to paint musicians.
Two years ago JOE and MOGI painted the same wall with MAD`C so the stakes were high!
What a coincidence that our next stop will be Halle, home of the amazing MAD`C!

We went to Copenhagen/Denmark to paint at the beautiful Hall Of Fame right next to the harbor. Due to our tight tour-schedule we had to finish our piece the same day. We ended up painting in the dark. Fortunately all the dark clouds passed by without raining!

Hey everybody! We`re in the beautiful city of Copenhagen right now. Unfortunately our host, TIWS, hurt his leg really bad so he couldn`t paint with us. Anyway he introduced us to some friends of him so we painted a little wall with them today. Watch out for the video of today`s action coming soon!

WOW123 invited us to “Boogie Down”- Bremen to paint a huge wall with him and SHAKO.

Unfortunately Bremen`s weather turned out to be pretty unpredictable! Luckily we had some sunny moments too and since a little bit of rain can`t stop five maniacs from painting we managed to finish our piece after all! We were all amazed by JAY FLOW who did not only paint one of the three big characters but also created an impressive background for all of us!
Another highlight was WOW`s little Daughter, practicing her first styles. In a few years she`s going to burn all of us!

SEOULMATES TOUR – EPISODE 2 (feat. ATOM & HOMBRE)

The second stop of our tour was Heidelberg, home of Montana-Cans. After visiting the Montana Headquaters we met HOMBRE, one of Gemany`s finest character-artists! We decided to join forces and all together paint a wall with ATOM at Heidelberg`s Hall Of Fame. We were all stunned by ATOM , arriving last but finishing his piece first!

Our next stop will be Bremen. We will meet and paint with WOW123, so stay tuned!

SEOULMATES TOUR – EPISODE 1

Finally!

JAY and JOE from Seoul arrived at the airport in Frankfurt. The Seoulmates-Crew is reunited and ready for action! On the first day of our Tour we visited Hassmersheim near Heidelberg to have a look at the Dupli-Colour factory, Europe’s biggest manufacturer of spray-cans.
We were invited to paint a wall on the factory`s roof!
We also met ATOM who is recently helping Montana to develop new spray-paint such as the new edition of the Montana-Black.

Tomorrow we will go to Heidelberg to paint a nice wall with ATOM and a special guest!

One Wall Free (2009/08/01)

(Jamsession in Hattersheim/Frankfurt)

The Koreans (JNJ-Crew) will arrive in just two days at the airport in Frankfurt to start their 6-week tour throughout europe!

MOGI seized the last days before the arrival by attempting the “One Wall Free”-Event in Hattersheim near Frankfurt.
A nice lineup of writers was invited by ATEM and RAKE to paint a big wall, hang out and have fun.
The weather was nice, everybody had a good time and it was an overall friendly atmosphere.

“Unpainted” (2009/07/03)
Exhibition @ Sangsangmadang, Seoul/ South-Korea

ARTIME JOE and JAY FLOW (JNJ/SM8) present their second solo exhibition!
The famous “Sangsangmadang”-artcenter invited them to show their unique artworks to the public.

All the paintings were created digitally that`s why they are considered to be “unpainted”!
